JTOneForever | Slumber Party

Last week Tuesday my bestie, Nkuli and I attended the biggest and most amazing slumber party to date. JT One by Woolworths hosted a bunch of fabulous Joburg girls to celebrate the launch of their latest range at the exquisite Inanda Polo Club.

The biggest slumber party featured the likes of Bonang Matheba as the hostess with the mosses, and SA’s top female DJs, DJ Doo Wap, MsCosmo, Ryan Gosling & DJ Zintle. When I was greeted with a glass of pink bubbly by a topless hunk, I knew I would be in for a treat. We shmoozed for a bit, enjoying our pink drinks, under a sky of white balloons anxiously waiting for what was in store for all 350 lucky babes. JT One is a youthful, flirty and so was everyone who was in attendance.  We were welcomed into a pink haven by Queen B. This lovely sanctuary that was created exclusively for the lucky attendees of these events had big white, fluffy pillows, a boxing ring, a hair salon station, a selfie booth, a sushi bar, a mani & pedi station by Fox Box and obviously a cocktail bar to keep our thirst quenched throughout the night. A lot of dancing took place so that bar sure came in handy!

iPod shuffles and Woolworth’s gift cards were handed out throughout the night to the girls who were seen having the most fun. A lucky guest even won an all expenses paid trip to The Four Seasons Hotel with 3 of her besties for posting the most creative selfie on Instagram. I was low-key mad that I didn’t win, I really need to get my selfie game up! LOL! Pretty photographs were taken by the cool and quirky photographer, The Cobra Snake, these photos were then posted on to the large media screen for all to see. Later into the night, we were told about a midnight feast outside with sweet and savoury finger food incase the sushi and cupcakes inside weren’t enough! I think the organizers were secretly trying to fatten us all up because there was so much food! I was actually overwhelmed! Those who know me well will know that I LOVE food and can eat a whole lot but I genuinely didn’t have enough space for the cotton candy and donut but I did enjoy some soft serve ice-cream and macaroons before leaving.

What I loved the most about this extravagant night was meeting friendly girls who read my blog, I still get caught off guard when people recognize me from Instagram. Fellow bloggers and influencers, Foyin, Irina Doman ,Mawe Vundla, Yoliswa Mqoco And Celeste Khumalo were among the familiar faces in the crowd; seeing them helped calm my nerves, this was only my 2nd event in Joho and I was super anxious about being around a new crowd. It was lovely seeing everyone there with their best friend. That was genuinely the cherry on top, a lovely night filled with fruity cocktails, great music, never ending treats, pampering all spent with our best friends! On our way out we were all gifted with cute goodie bags filled with vouchers, more sweets, slippers and JT One pyjamas which I love so much, I even wore them to work the one day (look post to come).

This was literally the best Girls Only Slumber party, I doubt any other brand or event organizer could do a better job. I don’t think our instagram posts did the event any justice. This definitely increased my obsession with Woolworths and JT One .

I truly hope Woolies spoils us like that again soon! #JTOneForever
