I have been working on this travel blog for nearly four months now and it has been everything that I could have imagined it to be. On a weekly basis, my partner, Dustin Lewis AKA Mr Clandestine shares wonderful photographs and videos with me that he takes on tour and I upload them on our Tumblr page here.
The latest photographs have been of the various places he has visited while on tour with Miguel and the band in Europe for the past three months. The irony of me running this travel blog is that I have never been out of the country of South Africa. Even within South Africa I have only managed to visit a few places and there are still many places within my country of birth which are foreign to me.
If I work hard and do well this semester I will be hopefully graduating from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelors Degree in Radio Production (Media and English Literature majors). I am hoping that my lack of travel opportunities will change soon. Being exposed to these astonishing European destinations through Dustin’s photography and what he has spoken to me about has me hoping and longing to travel whether it be for work, a post graduate course or even for leisure. With graduation in a few months, I can’t help but think about the endless opportunities that I may come across once I am no longer at university.
If anyone knows of any travel opportunities to Europe or The United State of America that involve blogging, modelling, writing, Radio & Media Production, please let me know by commenting on this post or emailing me on tshepangkm@gmail.com.
Below are a few of Dustin’s amazing photography which can also be found on his travel blog here.
