Edgars #NightOfFashion found Joburg’s fashionistas brace the newly renovated Rosebank Mall dressed in our best on Thursday 9 October. With the likes of trend analyst Dion Chang, and Edgars trend executive Sandy Rogers as well as Fashion’s best bloggers and media’s golden boy Maps Maponyane as the night’s MC.
With an exciting fashion show highlighting this summer’s top trends namely florals, brights, denim and leather accents – styled in monochrome summery suits in edgy crop-tops and denim shorts as well as effortless printed dresses. Festival-inspired styling saw the printed kimono styled with denim shorts and the cutesie crop top set the scene as you grace the beaches with those vintage pair of sunnies. The male models and their six-packs certainly made the #nightoffashion memorable for the evening. It’s no wonder Edgars has decided to host Britain’s best labels in South Africa, each one iconic in its own right!
As Edgars celebrated the launch of newly introduced brand, Express, an iconic youthful brand, trendy, effortless and affordable. It features versatile styling and affordability for the fashion-forward, expressive young woman.
River Island is no stranger to the avid fashionista, another iconic international British brand to grace our shores – filled with gorgeous trendy pieces, from geometric clutches to patent loafers – the ideal brand to suit the girly-girl and her edgy alter ego. River Island sees something for the boys too, with nostalgic, printed tee’s and strong denim options.
British occasion brand, Lipsy, brought a sense of elegance with its sensual lace dresses and chic jumpsuits – it hosts outfits for the ideal night out with the girls and the beau.
Another British brand, TM Lewin, brought a sense of regal sophistication, for the suited gentle man. With pristine tailored suits for the oh-so-suave gentleman as well as chic silk ties with bright pops of colour. It’s no wonder English men so great in suits, they’ve got the TW Lewin on lock down!

Talented trio, MICASA graced us with an unforgettable performance celebrating their new album and giving us a taste from their exclusive new single, Body, they certainly got me excited for December!
